April 22, 2009
It is with the deepest regrets that I have to post this news... John Kane who played lead guitar for the Bloodline Blues Band in it's early days passed away from complications with cancer on Sunday 4/19/2009. The compilation of musicians he'll be joining is truly blessed to have him in their midst. Our prayers and thoughts are with Jeannie, and their sons at this time. The wake will be at Kisselbergs Funeral Home on Main Street in Wauconda, Il. on Friday 4/24/2009 from 4:00 until 8:00pm. Please join Bloodline and the other musicians and friends that knew John and his family with prayers and thoughts in this time of sorrow.

Well...we had a blast at our first time into Kiefs last night....what a great crowd and staff. We got a little bit of a late start due to a record crowd for the fish fry,but no problem.....we just played alittle later. Wanna thank JJ Larkin for settin in on Harp on some tunes...you did a great job John, and we hope to do some things with ya in the future. To all the staff and and folks that came out and made it a very special night...Thank you!!!! Also....a big Bloodline Hug to Joe...Thanks Man.

We are very excited about a new club we will be at on Friday, April 3rd..Kiefs Reef on Rt 176 at the Fox River. They have a nice place overlooking the river, and in the summer, they put the bands out by the boaters and bikers that show up by the hundreds to party. I have been by there coming from band practice, and it looks like a blast. Sooo... We are regrouping, workin up some new tunes, gettin all the equipment worked on,seeking out new venues...and have enlisted the help of a friend of Mutz's to spread the word, and get things rolling for the summer....hope to see ya all out and about.
Riley's End of Summer Rocked!!!

August 24, 2008
Well..it was a bit of a family reunion again as Mike McMasters decided to fly in and celebrate his birthday with us and set in with the band on Saturday at Rileys. We managed to surprise Jr. and Donnie, but Dan Sr. was in on the secret,so he and Ma decided to come on out along with Cousin Timmie, and Cousin Bonnie and her hubbie Dan. Of Course...a jam session ensued, and a splendid time was had by all. Sr. did acouple of his greatest hits for us..lol,then Timmie jumped in on bass, and let me do the front man thing on Wait On Time and Stormy Monday. We had a blast. "The Family That Plays Together..Stays Together" Luv Ya All....Thanks to everyone who came out. As always...Thanks to G+B..you 2 rock!!!! And yes...she does think my tractor is sexy!!!! LOL It was great to see everybody, and get a chance to shake the rust out,and just jam and have a goodtime with family and good friends. Pics up soon.....CT

June 29, 2008
Well..once again,we had TOO much fun at Black Sheep Cycle. Dan Sr. and old friend guitarist Bill Kelly came out and did some jammin, and except for a shower and a hail storm..lol everyone had a great time. Thanks to hosts Bobo + Diz for all the food, raffles and good vibes. Pictures up soon. Also..Charlee,Donnie,and Jr. got out of the house Friday night and were treated to a great show by long time family friend Marshall Crenshaw down at Shubas. Marshall is a great singer/songwriter,and for my money,an awesome guitar player, and we had a blast hangin with him after the show. We were hopin to back him up on some blues tunes,but.....lol Thanks Marsh...you Rock!!!!

Well...the dust is starting to settle...lol. Man!! Was That Fun!!!!!!! Friday nite at Rileys was just awesome...we did a set, then the second set was an All-Star Family Jam!!! Bloodline founding father Dan Sr and brother Mike on slide guitar got up with the boys and showed us how to really play the blues with a down and dirty jam on "Rock Me",followed by "The Things I Used To Do"......Then my Brother Willee T. brought along an old friend of his,Mr. Doug Brown on guitar to round things out,and they proceded to bring down the house with a rousing set of old rock and roll tunes!!!! The bar was a jumpin!!! I still cant get the smile off my face....lol The next day at PrairieFest...same deal...the weather couldnt have been nicer...not a big crowd,(must be the gas prices...lol)but we had a great time. Brother Timmie came out too and played a little keyboard on the second set,so we really kicked it out for the Fest. Wanna thank...first..all the family for makin the trip,Love You All....Doug Brown for comin out to hang with Willee and jam with us,our good friends Greg + Bridget at Rileys for indulging us and letting us have our party at the bar...lol The folks at Prairie Fest for havin us this year...(lets do it again)...lol.......and a very special Hello and Love to Ron and Claire....Happy B-Day Ron.....pictures up very soon.....

Chicago Slim Passes.......
-
February 1, 2008
It is with great sadness that we tell you that Chicago blues legend Chicago Slim has passed away recently. A friend and inspiration to the Noels, and the entire Bloodline family,Slim was argueably one of the best blues harp and slide guitar players on the Chicago Blues scene from the mid 60's thru the early 90's. Dan Sr. had over 25+ years working with Slim, and much of the blues roots in this family band are because of his talent and connection to the Noels. A true bluesman has left the building......Rest In Peace,Slim

August 8, 2007
Hey...Charlee again.....As some of you might know, our 38.Special show was more than just a good time...it was a family reunion on acouple different levels. It brought together not only Dan Sr and 4 of his boys to the stage, but also his half brother (and my 1st cousin) Mike McMasters on harp. Well, just when you thought we couldnt get anymore bass players in this family..Im proud to welcome my long lost half brother Bill (Willee T.) into the fold. A fine bass player and singer in his own right, backing everybody that was anybody in the business, including a long stint as Chubby Checkers touring bass player,I personally cant wait for the day when Willee shares the stage with his extended musicial family...luv ya,bro
