I really didn't know what to expect in OSWEGO Having never met any of the family or having never been in Ill, All I knew was that I would get to spend time with my old friends from Charleston SC Bill and Jean Thromburg,Which would have been enough....but Charlee and Nancy were gracious hosts, all the musicians were great, seasoned professionals. Other people I met, Ron and Clair, a joy to be around. The rhythm man Dan, thanks for letting me use the rig(man knows a lot about equipment)Mike Mc great player. Mutz burning the paint off the walls. Don,solid and what a pocket.Charlee T great front man with excellent vocals and great bass chops...I enjoyed every minute of our time together.

The family that Plays together stays together....Thanks to everyone who ws involved.. from Riley's to the Prairie Fest Crew..(you guys never get enuff thanx).,. This could not have been a more pleasant weekend.. great meeting new folks.. Doug,Ron,Bill,Jean I'm sooo proud of the fact that I could be a part of the festivities... we should do this again really soon... Sooner than 40 years anyway LOL!!! It is a loss for sure for these Blues players, with the passing of a Great Bluesman "Chicago Slim". The man played with some of the legends of this genre, I'm sure he'll be missed by the members of the Noel family, and the Bloodline Blues Band.

Paddy...Thanks for the heads up on this. After careful review of the "Offical Rules for The Blues",I found our band to be..for the most part...in compliance. But..as Wilson Pickett said.."99 and a half just wont do". I found a few "problem areas",as it were. Please be aware that I will be meeting with the boys in the band..taking the firm and,Im sure,painful measures to assure complete,100% compliance with federal,state and local Blues codes before our next gig. Thank you again for your attention on this serious matter...

Got to check out the July 7th Hebron show, sounded really good. Was a lot of fun and nice to see Dan and Don again. I hope all of Terry's pics came out good, the ones she was showing me were-her infamous "angle shots" have a nice visual quality to them. That guest guitarist wasn't too shabby either- was cool of you guys to let Tevis up for a bit.
